How Often to Apply

Frequency depends on the state of your plant.

  • For new peace lilies or those just starting to flower: apply the rice water about twice a week.
  • For older plants that have not bloomed in a while: apply up to three times a week for best results.

Within a few weeks you should begin to notice stronger leaves, a deeper green color, and eventually new flowers appearing, even on plants that had seemed lifeless. As with any feeding, watch how your plant responds and ease off if the soil stays soggy.
